Mission

We specialize in creating functional spaces in your home, and it’s our mission to share with you just how rewarding the act of organizing can be!

Getting started (or knowing where to start) can feel overwhelming! But we aim to create an empowering environment where we can work together to create spaces that are more functional and better suited to your lifestyle. You spend a ton of time in your home, so it should feel like an oasis, not another thing on the to-do list!

Getting organized will create a space where you can feel relaxed, calm, and in charge and will give you more time to spend on the things you love. You’ll be able to appreciate the things you have, find the things you need, and give the things you love the attention they deserve.

As a member of the Professional Organizers in Canada, you can rest assured that we possess the required knowledge, training, and skills to help you get organized in a respectful, empathetic manner while also following a strict code of ethics to ensure professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Our Goal

Organization isn’t necessarily about getting rid of things. If you love it - keep it! But let’s find it a “home”, a place to exist, so that when you bring similar items into your home, you know exactly where they’ll go. 

For example: Let’s say you just bought a brand new appliance. (yay!) You’ve already got a plan for where that appliance is going. But where does its owner’s manual and warranty information go? In a miscellaneous paper drawer? In a random closet? In a file folder somewhere? Ultimately, it doesn’t matter where it goes! As long as you know where to find it and it’s in a place that “makes sense”. 

Let’s work together to find a place for your things, so that you’ll never have to go searching or wonder where to put things again!

You’re not able to enjoy the things that you don’t remember you have or that are living in the back of the closet! Let’s get the things you love into a place they deserve!

Making the most of your storage space

Maybe your current storage situation is inconvenient or you just don’t seem to have enough storage space. We can work together to make the most of the storage space you have and find solutions that work for you!

The Process

01.

The first step is to get in touch via our contact form, email or phone. If we connect via email or phone, we will ask that the contact form then be completed before moving forward. Once we have your completed contact form, we will be in touch to schedule our first appointment, which typically lasts about an hour.

During this initial visit we will:

  • walk through the area(s) / space(s) to be organized

  • get to know each other and get a sense of how we connect

  • determine areas of need and overall goals

  • discuss various approach options (ie: what methods work best for you, how involved you’d like to be, etc.)

  • assess your current organization methods, so that we can create a solution that works for you long term

After the first appointment, we’ll complete a Needs Assessment based on the information gathered and will email you a copy to ensure we’ve understood your needs completely. At that time, you will also receive an estimate. Then all you would need to do is sign off on the Needs Assessment and approve the estimate. Once we have your confirmation of both those things, we’re ready to get started!

Now that we’ve got all the administrative stuff out of the way, it’s time for the organizing to begin! At our first working session, we will start going through items, sorting, deciding what to keep, and what to get rid of.

During this process, we will:

  • offer recommendations. We’re not here to tell you what to do or to make you get rid of things that you want to keep, but we can offer suggestions, support, and solutions.

  • assist, as necessary, with determining the best method of disposing of the items that are no longer staying in your home, whether that be donating, recycling, garbage, etc. We can take away items for you or assist with arranging pickup for larger items.

03.

Once we’ve gone through everything, and we know what’s staying, it’s time to work on creating storage solutions for your items.

During this time we will:

  • organize items that you’re keeping and develop a storage system that works for you

  • help to encourage good habits and provide tips to keep in mind moving forward

If any supplies such as bins, drawers, etc. are required, we can use items already in your home, provide some suggestions of products we find helpful, or we can even do the shopping for you.

It may take a few visits to get organized, but we’re confident that all the work will be worth it! Ultimately, we want you to be left with a space that feels comfortable, sustainable, and stays forever organized!
