5 Tips to Organize your Bathroom

Bathrooms are the places we start and end our days, so it’s important that these spaces make us feel calm and relaxed. Organized spaces bring that sense of calm. Imagine being able to easily find your essentials in the morning even before having your first cup of coffee!

So, today I’m sharing my top 5 tips to organize your bathroom!

1.     Only keep what you need on the countertop

Even if you use something everyday, it doesn’t need to live on the counter. If it can be placed in a drawer or cabinet (think hair brush, makeup, and dental floss), store it there instead.

2.     Keep countertop items contained in a bin

Having items contained makes spaces look tidier. Everything is in one spot, and not spread all over the counter. As an added bonus, it makes cleaning easier too!

3.     Use drawer dividers

These keep things from rolling around in the drawers and also keeps the contents categorized inside them. Here’s an example.

4.     Contain the bath toys in one bin

This is similar to the items on the counter. With everything in one place, it looks tidy, and it also sets a limit to the number of bath toys to keep. Only keep what fits in the bin! This is my favourite bin because, it stores a good amount, is easy to clean, and it fits on the ledge of the tub.

5.     Get rid of items you don’t use

Check expiry dates. Look for duplicates and evaluate whether you actually use all the items you’ve got. If you’re not using them, they’re just taking up precious space, so it’s better to let them go. The free space will give you a feeling no product can!
